A New Spring Collection That Makes Dressing for Work So. Much. Better.

Don't know about you, but we spend a solid 20 minutes each morning trying to finagle a work-appropriate outfit that's also insanely comfortable while still looking fab. Or at least presentable. Basically, we're just trying not to let ourselves wear yoga pants every day. So when we got the opportunity to sit down with Tamara Mellon for a chat about her latest collections, we jumped (in our yoga pants) at it.

Who's Tamara Mellon, you ask? She's one of our faves, and with good reason. This gem of a Brit is the reason you are obsessed with Jimmy Choo's. She's Jimmy Choo's former co-founder who made the brand what it is today, essentially taking it from a cobbler shop to a multi-product, multi-generational, multi-continent luxury label.

Now, with her own eponymous label that she launched in 2012, she continues to bring that business savvy and eye for a tailored, sexy edge to the industry. And to boot, Tamara is modernizing the way we buy fashion. In addition to the traditional seasonal releases, Tamara also produces monthly capsule collections so that there's always something new to add to your wardrobe.

If it seems Tamara derives her inspiration from a personal place, it's because she does. "Everything in the collection I would wear myself," she says. Her clothes are very much for the modern woman, one who doesn't want to fuss too much over looking great.

Here I am, sitting down with Tamara Mellon to talk Resort 2015 and being a general badass.

Case in point: She, like us here at The SLF, is obsessed with the jumpsuit because it's effortlessly chic and sexy, all in one piece of fabric. If you follower her on Instagram (like we do), you'll see she's consistently rocking the hell out of one of her powerful one-pieces. Luckily, she has an insanely amazing selection of jumpsuits in each collection for you, including a white-leather cropped-leg version that we lost our minds for.

Here, some highlights from her Resort and S/S 2015 collections, available now, that you, too, will be obsessing over.
